Wave of Light Candle

Wave of Light

October 15 is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day. Many people all around the world will light a candle in recognition of the babies who are no longer with us.

The idea is that if people light a candle at 7pm in their respective time zones and keep it burning for at least one hour, there will be a 24-hour global Wave of Light.

The light symbolizes how these babies lit up our lives and brought us so much joy and happiness.

The light tells the world that these babies are not forgotten.

The light reminds us that there is hope. Amidst the darkness and heartache of not having our babies here with us anymore, we can still experience hope.

Hope to make it through one more day, one more month, one more year without our beloved children.

Hope to carry our children’s memories with us as we live our lives each day.

And hope to see these precious little ones again in eternity.
